On the heels of the US Open, I feel now is the perfect time to let you know that I’m a little tired of that trite quote by Mark Twain:

“Golf is a good walk spoiled.”

I beg to differ, Mr. Clemens. I think golf is a good game spoiled by walking!

Deep down inside, every golfer hates cart path only days.

A good walk spoiled is when you trudge all the way up to the snack bar at the turn only to find they’re sold out of hot dogs!
