August 28 & 29, 2010 - Suwanee Festival of Books

When: Saturday, August 28 from 10 a.m. - 6 p.m., and Sunday, August 29, from noon to 6 p.m.

Where: Join us for the SFoB at Suwanee Town Center Park, a 10-acre urban park and community-gathering place, featuring a 1,500 sq. ft. performing stage. The park is the heart of the Suwanee community and a center of activity. A growing array of shops, restaurants, services and residences surround Town Center Park, making it an ideal locale for authors and readers, friends and neighbors, to come together to learn more about the books they love and the authors who write them.

September 11, 2010 - Bookmarks 2010 Festival of Books

When: September 11, 2010 - 10am-5pm

Where: Winston-Salem, NC

An annual free-to-the-public event held in Winston-Salem, NC, that focuses on both youth and adult literacy. Novice writers and readers of all ages are inspired by and learn from authors, illustrators, storytellers and chefs through readings, workshops, panel discussions, cooking demonstrations, and creative and interactive activities for children and teens.

Events take place at George Mason University's Fairfax, Virginia Campus and at locations throughout Northern Virginia, D.C. and Maryland. All events are free and open to the public!

October 8-10, 2010 - The 2010 Southern Festival of Books

When: October 8-10, 2010

Where: Nashville, Tennessee

The Festival takes place on War Memorial Plaza in downtown Nashville between Charlotte and Union and 6th and 7th Avenues. Author sessions are held in the Legislative Plaza hearing rooms underneath the Plaza and in the Senate and House Chambers of the State Capitol.
